Yoga & Seasonal Ayurvedic Cooking – Winter
In the heart of winter after the madness of the holiday season, regain your vitality with 3 days devoted to yoga and the discovery of nutrition according to the principles of Ayurveda !
The retreat will be held at Indrani Lodge on January 11th, 12th and 13th. The arrival is on Friday at 3PM, but it is also possible to book a one day retreat with no accommodation including all yoga classes, workshops and 3 meals per day.
Yoga sessions will alternate with presentations on the principles of Ayurveda and practical cooking workshops.
I will have the pleasure to guide you through the morning and late afternoon yoga practices. The morning sessions will allow you to detoxify, wake up your body & oxygenate your mind. While evening practices, Yin Yoga, will have calming, soothing and refreshing effects.
Sarah Pinckers, our incredible and enthousiast Ayurvedic Therapist, will give 2 cooking workshops a day. Together with her, you will prepare energy-boosted lunches and snacks, taking the time to understand the process of vitality, fluidity and youth and how to cook according to your inherent nature. As we start a new year, particular attention will be paid to managing seasonal changes.
During these 3 days you can also get a massage from Paul Brumwell, our amazing massage therapist specialsed in Thai Massage and Chinese Abdominal Massage, Chi Nei Tsang
Cécile Brohez will be the chef coq of the retreat. She is constantly searching to prepare food that is not only healthy, but provides pleasure and promotes a sense of community. She will prepare you healthy and delicious meals with seasonal produce, fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs.
There will also be free moments where you can enjoy the sauna, the indoor pool, and the beauty of the surrounding nature.
